Introduction
FIEDMC intends to develop a Weaving City under PPP mode to gear up the industrial activity at M3-IC and to facilitate shifting of power looms from residential areas of Faisalabad to a planned setup. Power and hand loom industry plays a vital role in the national economy. Establishment of Weaving City will help in resolving the environmental issues and would also contribute in economic benefits for the authorities as well as generating employment opportunities.

Salient Features
- Development of infrastructure – utility services over an area of 100 acres.
- Standard weaving sheds of Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) construction to be built on an area of 100 acres.
- Sheds to be provided to weavers on rental basis.
- Pre-installed utilities connections would be provided.
- Community center and skill development center would be provided.

Provision of land and monitoring proceeds and attend grievances of the tenant / buyers, if any.
